Privacy sheers offer the most versatile light control of all window treatments by combining the functionality of a shade and a blind into one elegant window covering. Window sheers have adjustable slats connected by sheer fabric. When the slats are open, the sheer fabric disperses direct sunlight into an illuminating glow that fills the room. Closing the slats will achieve 100% privacy and shading. Similar to a blind, the slats can raise or slide for a 100% open view. Hunter Douglas sheers come in a horizontal as well as vertical solution that pairs nicely with sliding glass doors. Custom drapes are long enough to cover the entire window space and can function as a window covering on their own, while side panels are designed to be stationary and do not move past either side of the window.
